The world turns its eyes to Jarabacoa, the world capital of bachata 2026, where the biggest bachata festival in history will unite three successful generations of the music of love.

The Super Ultra Mega Bachatazo has crossed borders before the first note is even played. The Rio Times, an English-language news outlet based in Brazil and read across Latin America and around the world since 2009, published an extensive article dedicated to this historic festival, presenting it to international audiences as a once-in-a-lifetime chance to hear, live and together, the legends who built bachata from the ground up.

The international spotlight confirms what Dominicans already feel in their hearts: bachata belongs to the world. In 2019, UNESCO recognized the music and dance of Dominican bachata as Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity, and today millions of fans on every continent sing its songs of love, passion and longing. The Super Ultra Mega Bachatazo is the celebration of that legacy, a tribute to the voices and guitars that carried the soul of the Dominican Republic and its gentes to the global stage.

For the first time ever, fourteen bachata stars will share one stage, filling every corner with rhythm and emotion: El Chaval de la Bachata, The Godfather of Bachata; Luis Miguel del Amargue; Luis Segura, El Añoñaíto; José Manuel Calderón; Ramón Torres, El Poeta; Edilio Paredes, Davicito Paredes and La Dinastía de los Paredes; Teodoro Reyes; Marino Castellano; Allendy; Eudis El Invencible; El Gringo de la Bachata; Welinton Toribio; Nacho Estrella and Óptimo.

The international press highlighted the magic of the setting itself. La Confluencia, the natural park where the Jimenoa and Yaque del Norte rivers meet, surrounded by the mountains of La Vega, becomes the stage for a full day of music on Sunday, November 8, from 12 noon until 11 at night. The festival falls on a long holiday weekend, the perfect opportunity for families, tourists and Dominicans living abroad to travel to Jarabacoa and enjoy its cool climate, its waterfalls and its warm hospitality.

Every person who attends will take home a unique keepsake: a commemorative medal bearing the names of all the artists and the words «Thank you for being part of this history.»

Tickets are available at Uepa Tickets, the Listín Diario Readers’ Club and Boleto Express.

The Super Ultra Mega Bachatazo is made possible with the support of President Luis Abinader, the Ministry of Tourism, Brugal y Compañía, IB Electromuebles, Senator Ramón Rogelio Genao, Café Monte Alto, Indotel, Fedomu, Engineer Kelvin Cruz and RD Vial, together with the authorities of Jarabacoa, the Provincial Governor’s Office, the Jarabacoa Tourism Cluster and the local business community.
