Nueva York – Con el compromiso de transformar el dolor en esperanza y la solidaridad en acción, Raúl Acosta y Festiva Global Media Federation anuncian la realización del The New York Latino Telethon, un evento benéfico que busca recaudar fondos para causas urgentes en la República Dominicana y América Latina.
Un llamado a la comunidad: Raúl Acosta, reconocido músico y productor, junto a su equipo organizador, hizo un llamado especial: “El Telethon es más que un evento: es un acto de amor colectivo. Invitamos a cada persona, cada familia, cada organización, a unirse a esta causa. Solo juntos podremos reconstruir y sanar.”

Este 14 de mayo, el New York Latino Telethon será el espacio donde tu solidaridad brillará. Juntos, podemos sembrar esperanza y construir un futuro más justo, humano y solidario para todos.
Este gran evento comunitario reunirá a artistas, líderes sociales, comunicadores y ciudadanos comprometidos en una jornada de solidaridad que marcará la diferencia en cientos de vidas.

Causas que nos unen
El New York Latino Telethon se realizará en favor de:
- Los niños huérfanos de la tragedia del Jet Set, quienes quedaron sin familia tras el devastador colapso de la discoteca en Santo Domingo.
- La reconstrucción del colegio comunitario “Gotas del Saber”, una institución vital para la educación de niños de escasos recursos.
- La construcción de una escuela de música en cada provincia de la República Dominicana, para fomentar el talento, la disciplina y la esperanza en los jóvenes.
- La creación de una clínica de salud, para brindar atención médica a comunidades vulnerables.
Donaciones de artículos esenciales
Además de aportes monetarios, se estarán recibiendo artículos de primera necesidad, tales como:
- Alimentos enlatados
- Pañales
- Toallas sanitarias
- Sábanas
- Zapatos
- Equipos deportivos
Cada donación, por pequeña que parezca, representa un gesto de amor y una oportunidad de vida para quienes más lo necesitan.

Causes that unite us
The New York Latino Telethon will raise funds to support:
- 🧒🏽 The orphaned children of the Jet Set tragedy, who lost their families in the devastating nightclub collapse in Santo Domingo.
- 🏫 The reconstruction of the “Gotas del Saber” community school, a vital institution for children from low-income families.
- 🎵 The creation of a music school in every province of the Dominican Republic, to promote talent, discipline, and hope among youth.
- 🏥 The establishment of a health clinic to serve underserved communities with essential medical care.

In addition to monetary contributions, the event will be accepting donations of essential items, including:
- Canned food
- Diapers
- Sanitary pads
- Bed sheets
- Shoes
- Sports equipment
